The online shop has had an upgrade to make it better on mobiles, better searching and a freshening of its design

The club's online shop shop.tssc.org.uk has had a make-over!

As well as a freshening of its look to bring it into line with the main website and the forum, it has had a bit of work done behind the scenes to make it work better on mobile devices and to improve its search

Mobile devices like smartphones are increasingly being used by our members out by their cars to order more parts and the old website was hard to navigate because it didn't scale well onto the smaller screen sizes. Some considerable thought has gone into making using it on smartphones and tablets a much better experience now.

The old shop search facility could not search on part numbers, which was frustrating for the many club offers that were often mentioned in the Courier by the stock code. The underlying search code has been improved to allow searching for eg SC001
