Drive Out

What:-
Our next drive out takes place on Sunday 9th August. Meet at the Dockle Farmhouse, Bridge End Road, Swindon at 09:00 for breakfast before heading to the south Cotswolds.

Our route uses the A361 from Swindon to Lechlade via Highworth. In Lechlade we turn right at the traffic lights and continue north for a few hundred yards before taking the left turn onto Hambidge Lane. which we follow all the way to Hatherop, Coln St Aldwyns and then take a right and left onto the Salt Way towards Bibury.

Merging onto the B4425, we continue into Bibury and at the bridge, continue ahead along Ablington Lane. In Ablington, we turn right and head north to the Classic Car Hub for a break.

Returning south to Ablington, a right turn takes us over the river bridge after which an immediate left turn takes us back to the B4425 where we head towards Cirencester.

Once we reach Cirencester, There's an option for Swindon based members to use the A419 to return to home. Otherwise, it's straight across the A417/419 to the town bypass. Left here followed bya right at the major roundabout has everyone heading towards Malmesbury and Chippenham. Suggested finish is the Truck Stop by J17 of the M4.
