Derwent Valley's 34th Peak Run 2024

What:-
Those that attended the Peak Run event in 2023 know that we changed things a little. Even though it was a great success we are selecting the 'Best from the Best' to make this year's weekend even more memorable... Huzzah!

So what's happening in 2024 I hear you ask?
Well it's ALL good news! Huzzah!

Thursday 20th June we open the campsite from 3pm for those who just cannot wait to get the party started. We will show you where to pitch and leave you to do your own thing. Huzzah!

Friday 21st June we will be wide-awake from 9am to welcome everyone who just cannot tear themselves away from work. Don't worry if you're going to be a little late we can always send Richard up to the gate to let you in until 8pm. Huzzah!

During the day, you will be free to explore the most beautiful area of the British Isles. Huzzah!

Later, we will be hanging around the marquee hoping you will join us for a casual chat and some of our usual silly activities (dreamt up by Roger). Huzzah!

Saturday 22nd June we are sending you down the hill into the beautiful town of Ashbourne to enjoy the Ashbourne Street Festival. That's the easy bit... getting back might be more of a challenge.
Back on the campsite, the 'Beer Pong' table might be rescued from the back of the shed.
Later, we will return to the function room for the 'Saturday Night Party Night' where we will be playing the 'Best of the Best' silly games from previous Peak Runs. Mainly the ones we couldn't believe you were actually willing to do. Huzzah!

Sunday 23rd June begins with the annual chorus of Happy Birthday to Janine, followed by a group of zombies lining up their classics cars (of any make or model) for the start of the 34th Peak Run. A thrilling 80 or 90 mile drive through the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District following one of Gary's infamous routes, before finally returning to the campsite for the award presentation and raffle. Huzzah!

After all that, you don't have to go home until Monday... Huzzah!
