TSSC Norfolk gets two invites in one day

We had two members, Chris and Dean attend the Sporting Car Club of Norfolk run out from Snetterton. Both seemed to enjoy the well organised run. The run finished back at Snetterton where there was a few stalls, a band playing and an auto gymkhana.

From there two of us took up the second invite of the day from the Stag Owners Club, missing their run in the morning but making it for the BBQ. This was followed by a very informative tour of Peter's sheds. These contained a wide selection of Triumphs in various states of disrepair. They included an almost full set of the Dolomite/Toledo range, Triumph 2000 MkIII prototype and two Stag prototypes. Peter also gave a fascinating talk on Harry Webster, Triumph's Chief Technical Director, responsible for the development of Triumphs through the 1960s and 1970s. A great day even though it decided to rain for the first time in months.
