First time in I think 3 years, our March run was blessed with fantastic weather. With 37 people for breakfast at the Haldon Forest Diner, and some 15 Triumphs in the car park. Models from the Mayflower of John M, to the Partridge’s Acclaim from Herefordshire, so many different cars on display. Breakfast was followed by a glorious run organised by Lorraine and Julian, via Haldon Forest, down the Teign Valley and on for an ice cream at Teignmouth. March Club Night was well attended with several Triumphs out to play. In addition we had Richard’s MGA and Greg’s Jag Special. Dan’s 1960 Herald Coupe was out for the first time, alongside Richard B’s, Rob’s and Bob’s Vitesses. John L brought his 1500 Spitfire. [Pic 1] 23 March was our rearranged Inter Club Skittles at the Waie Inn. A large number of TSSC, SOC and Dolomite Club members played for the trophy – unbelievably MISSON ACCOMPLISHED – we retained it! Not only that, but Jane Frost was the highest scorer too. Particularly nice to have two Juniors playing again. 8 year old Ruby versus 7 year old Daniel. This time Daniel won, but hopefully these two will be playing each other for some years to come. Lots of Triumphs out to play for the day too
