Hi, my interest in Triumphs started with a MKII Vitesse KCL 99G that provided many hours of happy motoring but the two seater beater was sold to provide a deposit for my first house. I always missed my first Triumph and I eventually purchased another Vitesse and so the collection began. You could never call my cars pampered as I firmly believe that our cars should be used for what they were designed to do and that is to be driven. For that reason you will not find me sitting in fields on a Sunday in my polished car as I much prefer driving somewhere with the roof down. My current tourer is a convertible TR7 that has undertaken several European trips a couple of RBRR's all without any major problems.
Having been a member of the TSSC since 1996 and an active member of the Norfolk area it was a sad day when the local area folded in 2012. I felt that there was still enough interest in everything Triumph within Norfolk and so took on the mantle of AO in August 2013. It can be a thankless task on occasions but the lifelong friends that I have made through being a member of the club makes it all worthwhile.
