Welcome to Staffordshire area.
The North Staffordshire area of the TSSC was formed in October 2011 after a period of inactivity of the Staffodshire area for around 18 months. We are still trying to grow the number of members in the area so do come along and join us, you will be most welcome.
My first car was a 1959 Standard 8 which I owned for a number of years before buying another 1959 car, one of the first Triumph Heralds.
I then sold it and got a 1956 MG ZA Magnette which I ran for 12 months, then put in storage to restore.
I then bought a 1953 split screen Morris Minor to use while restoring the MG, but lost the plot and got married and had kids.
Way back in 1977 I bought another Triumph, this time a MK2 Vitesse convertible for a run about for the wife as they were inexpensive and funds were tight with two children to keep and feed.
This was a new car to me as all my earlier cars had got progressively older, again the Vitesse was run for around 12 months and put into storage were it still is.
I joined the TSSC for inspiration to restore the Vitesse and get it back on the road, but at that time the area had folded and had no local activity, which is how I got involved as AO and restarted the Staffordshire area, and one day the Vitesse will return to the road!!!
