Paul Lumsdon - Joint Area Organiser - Peterborough Area
Hi, I am Paul Lumsdon and I am one of the two Joint AOs for the Peterborough area of the TSSC. I have been a member of the club since 2000, which is when I bought my 1969 Mk2 Vitesse Convertable. In around 2002 Doug Balderson and I offered to become joint AO's for the Area and to our amazement we were voted in and have been in post ever since!
Redundancy in 2011 forced some big changes to my life as I decided the only way I was going to make a living was by working for myself. Sadly some belt tightening was necessary and the Vitesse was SORNed and mothballed as a result. However my business is now getting established slowly but surely and I am glad to report that as of July 2014, the car is now taxed, insured, MOT'd and back on the road.
The Peterborough Area is a friendly group of Triumph enthusiasts. We meet every month on the 2nd Monday of the month at The Five Horseshoes at Barholm near Stamford from around 8pm. We run a monthly raffle which helps to fund the excellent finger buffet that the landlord lays on at these meetings. If you are a Triumph owner living in the Peterborough/Stamford area of the country then we'd love see you (and hopefully your car) at one of our meetings. We try to keep it all very casual and friendly and new faces are especially welcomed.
