The evenings in June are warm and light late into the night so the area meeting never really made it out of the Plough's carpark.

Eastern, Essex - Essex July News
Well the month of May certainly was busy in the Triumph world.  On the 3rd May we were straight into a week away with the Spitfire on our usual trip to the Isle of Wight club weekend, and what a fantastic time we had for the 30th celebrations.  There was a great turn out from Essex and we were joined by a few from Somerset and Exeter in our little group. Midland, Oxford - Oxford July News
Oxford Area June meeting. Held as usual in the Duke's Head. For the first half of the evening we had nine members but had a welcome return for one night only of a former member on their way up north. For the second half we had eleven. In the car park was my Skoda a Citroen AX a GT6 (top marks), a Jaguar XF estate and an E class Mercedes.

   Well the show season is well under way now, since the first official run out of the year on the Bobby Shaftoe I have done over 550 miles in 6 weeks, and with shows coming up in Berwick and our picnic run up to the Tan Hill, and our trip down to the Silverstone classic in July, it looks like I will be clocking up a fair few miles this year.

We have 22 cars and 41 memebers booked for the Shuttleworth flying day July 7th now fully booked, just need the sunshine.
Last months trip to Bressingham went well, no one got lost, later in the year we will see amazing flowing gardens, the trains were all running and sooty shirts were the order of the day.
I put the 2000 through its Mot and passed without notes, we have rescued 2 gearbox remotes, and twiddled some jobs on Pete H's Vitesse, other than that is been quiet.
