How would I go about converting my Herald to two (or more) speed wipers. I dimly remember a Courier article from a few years back referring to something similar being done on a Spitfire. I'm guessing that parts from a later Spit could be fitted if so what parts would I need?

The original GT6, (Mk.1) had a 2-speed wiper motor that will fit a Herald in place of the original, but you will need to use the gear-wheel out of the Herald motor to get the correct sweep of the wiper arms, as it has a different number of teeth to the GT6 gear-wheel.
You will also need a 2-speed switch.
