I will be sprinting the Bond this Sunday at Curborough with my good friend Ben sharing the drive. He got one over me at Cadwell, but I am seeking revenge at the short track sprint.
Interestingly, I have seen the entry list and there are seven of us in my class, which is the biggest I have ever competed in but it also highlights what Ben and I am up against.
My 95bhp road going Bond versus;
200+bhp mk2 race Escort
150bhp race prepped lada Samara
200bhp race prepped Manta
150bhp Seat Ibiza
120bhp (at least) Peugeot 106

I am seriously hoping to catch the Lada this year as I was only half a second behind him last year, I have beaten the Manta and the Lada at Thoresby Park, but this sprint circuit has much longer straights, this will be our undoing.
