Jack up front, support on stands. Steering wheel should be straight ahead. Remove OS wheel. Undo the two bolts that go through joint, bit tricky to get at, I use 3/8 drive set, remove both bolts. spray with WD40 as it will be stuck on splines. From inside of car, undo the clamp at the bottom of steering shaft then gently and smoothly pull wheel up, it should slide, not too far, check that the spline is coming out of the joint, may need to be tapped to move it. Remove, discard, fit new joint to bottom spline, replace bolt and tighten then, fit end of steering rod into top splines of joint and push steering wheel down until second bolt can be inserted (helper?), tighten making sure wheel is still straight ahead. Job done! I hope I haven't forgotten anything. Then ring Club HQ and purchase a workshop manual. Well worth the loot. Hope it goes OK. I think this should be in the technical bit . . . . . . ?
