I have recently purchased a '64 1600 Vitesse and I was wondering if there is much info on the works rally cars.
Any info would be gratefully received.

Hi Clive,
Vic Elford competed in 6003 VC in the Monte Carlo Rally 1963, 3rd in class 24th overall, the car was re-prepared to compete in the Manx Trophy Rally on
the Isle of Man .
For more info the best source is Triumph Herald & Vitesse by G Robson, available form the Club bookshop.
Cheers,

I would suggest speaking to Dave Pearson at Canley Classics who is the current owner of the ex-John Woolley Vitesse 6003 VC.
Also a mine of information is Dave Gleed, well known to those of us who frequent autojumbles! Dave spent a lot of time around these cars when he worked
at Standard-Triumph and is very useful for the facts which never made it into print,
Cheers,
Bill Davies.
