Hi All
I have an original radio surround and speaker but only one of the brackets (the larger one). Can anyone supply a drawing of the smaller bracket with
dimentions so I can get one made?
Cheers

The plate I need a drawing of is the small one that fits to the gearbox tunnel.
David Rummens - You did an article on this radio surround back in 2004. Are you able to help me please?
Thanks

Hi David
I have an original triumph radio surround and speaker but no bottom bracket. I see you did an article back in June 04 showing these parts. Are
you able to give me dimentions so I can get one made up.
Also, while looking for a 1070x I have noticed that there are variations on this model. Some of the units go to 2000 on the medium waveband but
others goto to 1900 (the one I have). I have also seen this on the 1070XB model. Do you know why this is and also do you know what the
difference is between the 1070X and 1070XB.
I hope you can help as I am really looking forward to fitting this item to my Vitesse.
Thanks
David

David the bottom bracket is normally the part that goes missing and I will take the dimensions and email them to you.
The difference or changes on the radio dials from 200 metres to 199 metres were made due to Radio Caroline transmitting on 199 metres back
in 1964. If the difference on your radio is from 2000 to 1900 metres then this is on the LW and may have been due to the availability of
components. It will have very little or no effect on your ability to receive any of the current radio station

Hi Dave
Thanks for the reply. I look forward to receiving the dimentions. Are you able to describe how the hole thing fits together. I had a
look at it in the car the other day and got all confused!
Cheers

David, over the weekend I will take the radio out of my Vitesse and take some measurements of the bracket. Concerning the fitting -
If you send your email address by contacting me direct, using vitesse@tssc.org.uk, I will send you the original fitting
instruction.

Here is my installation.
I don't have the bracket to hold the one speaker below the radio.
Instead, I used a GT6 frame to hold the modern Radio CD beneath the original one.
A completely removable set-up if required.
