Convertible Roof Structure

Got up this morning to discover a drunken 'flipping banker' had decided to take a run and jump onto boot, walk over the roof and jump on the bonnet!!!!! I cannot tell you how I'm feeling at this moment in time.....thankfully a neighbour saw what happened and chase him and caught him and he's been charged for criminal damage as he did the same thing to seven other cars in the street. Even had scene of crime officers here taking copies of his trainer print from my roof!!

The roof held up except one of the struts has bent, I'm wondering if the strut is straightened out will the fact that it has been bent (quite a lot) ruin the structural integrity of the whole roof frame itself. I'd appreciate if anyone knows and could let me know before I take car to garage to get a quote for the insurance.
