Hello, I am brand new to the TSSC, having recently acquired a triumph vitesse mkII convertible. It is missing a popper (is that what they are called? !)
for the hood cover. I found a couple of old ones down the back of the seat, but they are no good - could anyone tell me anywhere that I could get hold of
one solitary hood popper to fit to my hood cover?
I tried prising an old one apart, but it just destroyed the one half.

Hi John,
sometimes called 'Duradot', these can be bought from most suppliers. canley classics, john paddock, sports car supplies etc. You'll also need a tool to
fix them on, available from the same places.
You might get lucky and catch the tool on E-bay.

Funnily enough I found some at Halfords (tent section), they were 'very' cheap. bought two packs of five sets (poppers and studs) and a fixing
tool, then at the check out the fixing tool was free as a multi buy!
that would be my first place to look if I were you, then a camping shop if no luck.

Thanks to both of you for the advice - I will follow it up. Cheers.
