  Hi Neil,
  Good luck in your quest to find a car. Joining the club first is probably a good idea - I sometimes wish I had done so first, as I would have known more about the Vitesse before I bought one, plus you get to find out about cars which are not advertised yet, but are coming up for sale.
  Anyway, doesn't appear to be a Shropshire area at present, but there are West Midlands & Staffs areas:

  Re dealers in your area, Canley Classics have cars for sales, both their own & customers cars. Currently there are 2 Vitesse Convertibles on their website - a 6 & a MkII.

  Hello,
  
  I wanted a soft top car to add to my new life from Kentish Town to rural Norfolk. Put the word out for a cheap to buy and keep 2nd car and was interviewed to be the careful custodian of my Vit6 from a childhood friend of a childhood girlfriend's father who insisted on taking £100 less than he asked for on the phone the day before !
  
  We're all not that lucky , but go to some shows and ask/see what you get for the money.
  
  Chasis + engine are repairable but your nemesis is body rust. This can be very expensive to repair (cheaper to bodge).
  
  Buy what you can afford, but unless you never use it and it is stored with Charlie Croker's Aston you will have smallish yearly costs of keeping her sweet.
  
  Still best thing I've ever bought - love it + always will !
