Hi
It transpires my Vitesse actually has a T2000 engine with 150 CD "S" Carbs (single connecting rod between the carbs) which kind of threw me when I started
tinkering and it looked nothing like the one in the Haynes manual!
The engine idles smoothly at around 850-900 rpm which is higher than that advertised for a Vitesse (around 650 rpm). But is it normal for a T2000 engine
(serno begins ML*****)?
And if not, how do I adjust these carbs?
Any help/advice appreciated.

I would not aim for an unduly low idle speed, 850rpm is not unduly fast. If you want it lower, then adjust the throttle stop.
