Nuts for minilite replica wheels as sold by the club

After waiting in for the delivery of some wheels nuts from a well known wheel supplier I have been sent some but that are not suitable.
The washers supplied are flat they should be bevelled; the shank of the nuts is too long see picture; the chrome plate is coming off already.

Has anybody found a source for these nuts? I only need 4 to replace those lost recently when the car shed a rear wheel. Fortunately I was travelling in a straight line at less than 30 at the time so although I was surprised neither the car nor I seem to have suffered any lasting damage, unless of course the nuts are irreplaceable.

  I struggled a couple of yrs ago to replace my wheel nuts,(ive got old minilite style GB alloys) ive got some now that look the same as the new one in your pic.
  They were from a place called Speed Shack in west drayton (01895 449066) They were very helpfull, I posted them one of my existing wheel nuts and they matched some up with that! about Â£2 each i think!

  Ive since found some the same but 7/16 size with matching wheel studs about 10-20mm longer, from a trader at the malvern show last summer.still got his card somewhere,will have a look for it if your interested?

    I had problems getting wheel nuts for my original Minilites, the wheels had been out of production for a long time and no-one seemed to have anything that fitted.
    
    Eventually I contacted Minilite themselves, not only did they have one of the rare wheels in their archive but they were able to provide me with a set of wheels nuts and sleeves.

      Have fitted 12mm dia studs and nuts from john wolfe racing, easy to fit ,needs small relief to head
      to clear the spigot on the front hubs ,, you wont shear these in a hurry.
      if you use blind nuts may have to shorten by 10mm ,, fit and forget them

        Have contacted Jon thinking that upgrading the studs might be a good idea, have also asked him the nuts he supllies would be OK with my wheels. No reply yet.
        
        It was not the studs that failed in my case. The nuts just let go must have been loose and shaken themselves off.

      Thanks Philip but unfortunately Minilite say "As you have deduced, our wheel nut is not compatible with the two gates wheel. If you fail elsewhere, your only option would be to machine down one of ours."
      
      So my hunt continues.
      
      The main problems are that I can not find anybody who supplies the bevelled washers and the nuts are too long in the shank.

        I have found Rallye Sport London on eBay very helpful Russ photograghed some of his stock specially for me, I do not think his offering is quite right. You might want to try them RALLYESPORTLNDON@aol.com
        
        As my Vitesse is my only car, the nuts are safety critical and Nigel at the TSSC shop reassures me that his nuts fit I will buy a full set from him rather than spend any more time searching for somebody to sell me a few to replace the ones I have lost.

        I could be wrong, but is the bevelling due to wear and the flat washers and nuts are correct. The very narrow angle of the bevelling looks to me like wear......
