Hi
Wonder if anyone can help.
I've been making my website which is all personal stuff but I have one page called "Herald Pics" which has pics of my car, but the question is, I would
like to put other pics of heralds on there - so can I just grab them from other peoples sites or scan them from magaxines, or do I need the owner's
permission? ( Owner of what? The Car, The image?) All I want is a variety of Herald Pics to illustrate the page, but I don't want to upset anyone.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
I would always seek permission from the website or magazine you source your pictures from. I would recommend you add a link to their website too, and
request that they add a link to your website in return. Reciprical links are a great way of improving your ranking in the search engines like Google
and Yahoo.

Craig, Steve,
I have no way of knowing, but I'm sure Craig is right.
However, we are lucky compared to the USA. The TTN sold a splendid Triumph poster, a collage of dozens of different cars. Until the proprietors of
their internet shop asked for them to show the written permission of every car's owner. It was too much work and the poster went out of print.
