Alternator: Not sure which one I've got and what would fit!

I've a 1967 Mk1 with and alternator. The ignition light is on pretty frequently and it looks middle aged (to be polite) so I want to do something about it. Can anyone help: Firstly, the numbers have faded on the sticker so they are largely illegible, what I can make out seems to be "0045 82 LEB" and "8502". Does anyone know which model this is (then I can get new brushes)? Secondly, which 'modern' ones fit - I can sort out the hangers, the main thing is the contacts and electrical properties! (The classic suppliers 'usual suspects' seem to want a hell of a lot of money for a modern conversion unit - £130 - so I'll try and source one elsewhere if I can't refurb the existing)

thanks
