Are there any electrical whizzkids out there who can tell me why the horns on my late vitesse only work when the steering lock is on? As soon as I turn the
key ..... nothing!!! The horn did go off once as I went round a roundabout by tesco....I just waved and pretended I knew somebody walking, a bit
embarrasing but I got away with it!! Does anyone know the size of the nut holding the original steering wheel on as well please? Cheers for now, Tom

If you've got a sterring wheel horn push, it could be that as you turn the steering wheel, the wires twist in the steering column and it could short
where the insulation has worn through?
Take the column off and have a good look at your wiring...
