Hi all
Im in middle of respraying my car, i have the main colour which is code 18 (gunmetal grey) but was thinking of painting a white flash as it has a white
hood,and im going to do the wheels the same.what does everyone think? i know its down to personal taste but dont want to go to all the trouble to then
think wish i didnt.
also i was thinking of an off white ie cream colour anyone know the triumph code for this?
any help would be great

The Triumph colour you discribe is known as "Triumph White" and its code is 19.

I think the Vitesse 6 looks great in two tone, and I'm pretty sure the white flash is the correct combination. Some early Heralds had a two tone
Gunmetal and Wedgewood (or Powder?) blue, but I don't think that would be so good on the VItesse.
If you are going to do it, make sure you do the full job, and extend the white across the lower front of the bonnet, not just the headlamp surrounds.

Thanks guys, i agree Chris it has to go around the front grill not just the headlight surrounds, ive been looking at so many pics of vitesse's to
get some idea and think it has to be white as it has a white hood, only thing is i think code 19 white might be a bit too white (if you know what i
mean), i think an off white would be better.

Triumph White is the most creamy of all the Triumph Whites. The other Triumph Whites are Spar White and Leyland White, code NAF.
A White which is more creamy than Triumph White is the BMC (Austin/Morris) Old English White, I do not have the code for this colour

Thanks Dave, code 19 is what i'll go for then, i think i was thinking of leyland white, i remember my sprint being code NAF, far too white
i think.
