Anyone know what diff would have the number HC58868 on it,seller says its Vitesse,also i thought Vitesses were fitted with 3.89 diffs but my original
Triumph service book says Herald 1200/1250 and Vitesse has 4.11

Vitesse 1600 = 4.11. Vitesse 2 litre = 3.89. HC = Vitesse 2 litre Mk2 diff.
So the diff is almost guaranteed to be 3.89, I say almost as someone could have taken it apart and changed the ratios, but this is pretty unlikely.
