Clutch, gearbox, overdrive, propeller shaft.

Has any one else had the problem with nuts/studs etc. or am I just really unlucky!! I've just fitted my re-con'd overdrive to the gearbox(eventually!!) supplied by O/D spares and most of the threads have stripped on the studs even before proper tightening. Either they are not made of the right material, or the machining is rubbish! I have had the same problem from Canleys with head studs. They said they would look into it, and sent me some more (rubbish) studs, no feed back though, or apology. So now I am stuck with the car still in bits and a wasted weekend.
