Hi can any one help the clutch pedal on my 1970 vitesse only moves about 2" on looking i think i may have the wrong master cly. the rod is about 21/2 "
long should it be the same as the brake one which is 3" as this would make the clutch and brake pedal sit in line at the moment the clutch one being a 1"
or so lower. Its hard to get in to gear but will work and you can drive her. Is this from the wrong car ? please can some one measure there rod and let me
know (dont be rude) thanks Jim

The rods should be the same length, for some reason there are a lot of replacement clutch master cylinders out there with short push rods, you can
change it in situ (if you are careful) without any fluid loss.
