Anything and everything Vitesse.

Engine, cooling system, fuel system, exhaust system.

After searching the site for bonnet fitting on vitesses i noticed a thread on alloy rocker covers fouling the bonnet at the front end,i have this problem with a cover i bought some time ago.Is it really a case of grinding the fins off or doing away with the gasket to make it fit?
I cant believe they would be sold if they dont fit without mullering them.
Any advice welcome(not chuck it in the bin and fit the original as i saw on the other thread).
