external rocker shaft feed kit are they any good?? and do they take oil pressure away from bottom end

old chestnut this...
the tapped drilling in the cyl head is there only as a manufacturing side-effect, the oilway in the head needs to turn right angles and they haven't
invented a drill bit to do that yet.
the blot hole is there to take a blot to block up the hole.
no it doesn't do anything helpful, spend your pennies on something else

Nothing but trouble. The engine doesn't need additional lubrication at the top end unless there's something wrong with the engine elsewhere, ie.,
blocked oilway. At worst they cause massive oil consumption, the excess oil swimming around the top side of the head is quickly sucked down the valve

There is a view that the use of the feed could rob some of the oil pressure from the bottom end.
Most wear of the rocker shaft is mainly due to a very high mileage.
