Parcel Carriers letting suppliers down

Posted By : Richard Briscoe, 26-Jun-2006, 05:46pm

Am I the only one who gets rubbish service in regards to parcel delivery?

Ordered some parts from Paddocks on Thursday last week on their next day delivery service run by TARGET EXPRESS. Rang up at lunch time today and promised delivery by 4 o'clock.

As of 5:30 pm on Monday no delivery and the Target say they have tried to deliver!

Sorry Target but I was in both times - and if they tried where is the card advising a missed delivery?

Parcel Force find us every time and 19 times out of 20 we get next day deliveries even on their standard service.

Target Express are likely to lose Mr Paddock a customer tomorrow as this is the third time and at a charge of &163;8 I expect parcels to land on time.

Target Express also have the most ignorant and un-helpful "help" desk.

Its not just the customer service of the parts suppliers you have to watch out for. Check which carrier the supplier is using and be wary if it isn't Parcel Force.
