I re-veneered the dash in my spit and TR6 using veneer and advice from Chapman and Cliff.
They were very helpful and gave all the advice I needed. When I done my spit dash a couple of years ago I bought a kit from them which included the
veneer, glue, lacquer, tack cloths,all the various grades of wet and dry required, the clamping boards and instructions. The results can be seen on
the Norfolk TSSC website...members cars.
James, I have done Dolomite door cappings, they can be fiddly as they have to be veneered each face seperately and clamping them can be awkward.
Chapman and Cliff might do them for you, they are doing a pair from an MGRv8 for my brother and are only charging £10 each plus cost
of veneer to do them, apparently they do them in a vacuum bag because they are a complex shape.
