I own a MkII Convertible and whilst I love the car dearly I'm not the handiest mechanic in the world! However, I'm also very nervous about letting
unsympathetic mechanics get their hands on my car.
Does anyone know of a good triumph mechanic in either Southend, Basildon, Billericay, Chelmsford area?
Also, how about good body shops?

I can recommend a very good bodyshop on the A127. It is behind a garage called M.J Freeman. The owner of the bodyshop is Phil and at the present he is
1/3 of the way through my bodywork on my Vitesse powered 13/60 estate. He has previously worked on a prize winning coupe and is also working on his
fathers 13/60 convertible. I have looked at alot of his work which is mostly on euro boxes and it is of a very high standard, therefore I would say he
is your man!! The company is called the Moorings Bodyshop, his no is 01708 457 348. If you tell him Jaimie recommended you if you contact him I would
be grateful as this will give me some brownie points!!! Good luck. Maybe see you at Stafford or the South of England Meet next year?? Remember to enjoy
your Triumph!

I have heard good things about Chisbon Restorations who are Nr Harwich.
They have done a few members cars very well.
Also there are 2 very good ones near Maldon. If you want details email me

Hey chaps - why not turn up tonight (1st Monday of the month) for a pint at Essex Club meet: Dog & Partridge on the A128. Fight your way
through the Suzuki Bandit Club to discuss it further then.

Slight problem for me, no car!! It is on the list of things to do when my Vitesse powered Herald estate is on the road. It's only been a 15
year rebuild so far!! Still hopefully with huge commitment next year it should be finished in time for the show season, so see you there!
Have one for me anyway.

WHAT!! no car at all, how do you manage, whereas if you meant no 'club car' then don't worry. At the North London meets we are lucky if
1 clubcar arrives for every 20 members!!!

I did mean I don't have a road worthy club car, not, no car at all. I will do my best to attend a meeting in the new year, a good
excuse for a drive (I live in Walthamstow, East London) as well as a few drinks!!
Hope to see you there.
Happy Xmas to all club members.

In Walthamstowe you have the choice of either North London, or Essex.
We have a couple of people who come up from Redbridge.
Hopefully we or the Essex guys will see you in the new year.
