Hi,
I am just about to buy a new carpet set for my MkIII GT6 and have seen varying quality.
Has anybody recently brought any?, and can recommend or otherwise any traders.
Tony.

Although I haven't used them for GT6 trim yet, Newton Commercial supplied a lot of trim for my Mini. I'd recommend them...

Andrew,
Got my carpet set last Thursday. Quality of material and fit was excellent apart from the rear wheel arch covers which I thought were a bit
to big even allowing for the insulation. It was easily altered though with whole job taking a weekend but at a leasurely pace. It looks as
original.
Can I ask you a question ?, does the metal footplate in the passenger footwell fit under or on top of the carpet. If it fits under the
carpet I would appear to have the wrong footwell carpet.

Mine has the carpet cut away so that it fits around the footplate. Having said that the footplate is screwed to the gearbox tunnel so a
tidier fitting would be to remove it, fit the carpet and then re-attach on top of the carpet. Always assuming that you can locate the
screw holes again!
Incidentally I bought some footwell carpets from Quiller some months back and the drivers side is the same shape as the
passenger's!
