Does anyone know where I can get a good head job in either the Colchester, Ipswich or Cambridge area? The old girl needs converting to unleaded and
probably some new guides as well.

You could always try Cambridge Motorsports... but they may be pricey...
Then there's Tony Dean of Kingston Sportscars (bury st. Edmonds) who is advertising in the courier a the moment ...

Don,
Kingston Sportscars used to be the dogs danglees for Engine and Transmission reconditioning in the 80s and early 90s when they were based in West
London. In the late 80s nearly all the contenders in the TSSC race championship used to use Tony's tuning goodies.
I had a gearbox from him in my GT6 and it's the only one that really lasted, th two that I've had since started to get noisy within a few thousand
miles (the first one broke at about 12K) but the Kingston one did over 50K miles before it went bang.
Not sure whether he does reconditioning work now that he's based in Suffolk but it's certainly worth a try, you'll certainly get a quality job
done.

Hi Don,
Hve you tried David at Anglian Triumph Sevrices in Bungay, Suffolk.
Think he charges about £295 plus a little bit for fitting.
Hope this is of some help.
