I was wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experiences of the performance engine rebuilds offered by TSSC. The price looks a little steep to me but
that photo of the restored engine looks very pretty!!
Failing this I was wondering if anyone has recently had an engine rebuilt and is satisfied with the results, how much did it cost and where was it
done.
I am only interested in having my engine rebuilt or exchanged I am working out of a very small garage and want to avoid being landed with two engines

Incidentally I am based in Portsmouth and local would be better but any realistic suggestions (national) are most welcome!

I used a guy in East Mosley (Hampton Court), Power4Peanuts Dermot McGivern. Now he's really a race engine builder but boy does he know his stuff!!
He's been working Triumph engines for years (at Cox & Buckels) and for just over £2000 he turned my 1300 Herald engine into a
firebreathing monster (120Bhp at the wheels). The reason they get so expensive is that they need better components and these cost - Forged Pistons @
£120 a pot!!, etc,.
Can't say he was the fastest engine builder in the West but he could be the best!

I am after a fast road engine so hopefully the more exotic components can be avoided....and some of the expense!!! =:-O
When I am ready I might drop Power4peanuts a line.
Are you the same Nigel I switched a roll bar with about four years ago?? I guess you must be (Those happy days in Hampton). Cheers mate for this
