All I have posted this as a word of caution for anyone fitting the stainless steel bottom water pipe from Moss. Commonly used for an alternative switch to
the rheostat type or could be for a temp take off?
Anyway, I have saved myself from possible engine damage by checking the internals of the pipe before fitting. I found that there was a disk of metal from
where the threaded adaptor has been let in, still attached to the pipe by a thread. It was folded back inside the pipe in such a way that if it didn't just
block the flow of water to the engine - it would probably have come away and ended up wreaking havoc in the cooling system! Sorry for the poor quality of
the pictures - but hopefully they show what I mean!
