I accept that with a relatively old convertible, the rain and I will always be in touch but having replaced the hood on a TR7 I expected less not more.
There is a danger that I am being stupid but as you close the door, the window glass is in the outside of the hood. The top point of the quarterlight then
appears to form a gaping hole for the water to drain into. The whole design would make more sense if the edge of the hood stayed on the outside of the
glass. A coach trimmer I spoke to suggested cutting and restitching the flap at a point around the window glass in order that you can close the door and
leave the hood edge on the outside. Or are we both being stupid ?
