If anyone hears of someone selling a Holley or Weber + manifold for Rover V8, please can you post to this thread?
More a TR8 request I suppose, but it is in my GT6 and it's all I need to run and have fun.
Cheers chaps.

Listen if you get yours on the road before me I'll be seiously miffed, been building mine for eight years, off and on and it has been torture for the
last two since my daughter came along. However things are finally moving apace and I'll have it roadworthy this year if it kills me.(Which it probably
will do anyway) I have to say, it took me ages to get a Holley 390 for it, then a fortune to sort it out for use on the Rover, then even longer to find
an Offenhauser manifold which I had to buy complete with another fully sorted Holley! In fact I found that the best way to acquire good bits was to buy
full engines or assemblies. I got a nice Mallory dual point distributor with a full engine, then sold the engine again for a bit less than I paid,
sorted. Good luck

8 years!!!
It's taken me 3 weeks so far, and all I need to finish is
1. a longer drive shaft
2. custom manifolds
3. carb setup
Ditch the kids!!

Yeah Yeah I know but I have built numerous other cars in the meantime. You see I bought the car and started the project as a complete nut bolt
everything job just before I met my now wife. So as well as all the other cars, there has been three house moves a marriage and a baby, and now
I have my own business I get to fix everyone elses sportscars and have no time to do my own. So while you lot are out there in soft tops I'm
sweating it out in a Saab 900 with a baby seat. Believe me it is torture having customers drooling over this V8 and telling me to get it
finished every day. I am making progress now though. Plus I can take it for a blast around the car park (no doors or bonnet) occasionally!!?

Oh dear.. I'm also moving house, so have put the 6 pot back in for now :-(
Gonna end up being a winter job now.
But i'll be going to Stafford with a wheezy engine and whiney gearbox all the same!
Itentity? Just look for the silly little fake intake on the bonnet (so the V8 distributor fitted)
just dont laugh! (WJH 235J)
