this seems to be one of lifes mysteries but guess someone out there knows the definitive answer
having just put body back onto a rebuilt flat and level chassis you best start with the two metal ones as front baulkhead
then pack the rest to get the A post angle in the right plane to suit the doors, then pack the rear to get the B post shut in line with the doors even
with a flat chassis we ended up with some enormouse packers in odd places to get the gaps right
now having got the gaps we drilled and bolted the sills together to fix positively, one problem was rear tub spread which was solved by crontrived
brackets and 10m studding attached to the B post extention lugs with heavy washers to support then
tighten the studding had to pull it in by 2" to reduce the spread by 3\4" but this eliminated the gull wing door fits completely
and door seal gap around the door is now even, no more slam and bang to shut them, so ignore the rules use loads of packers
dont have too much rubber best of luck peter
ps cant shrink this picture any more without putting beer glass down
