Hi All,
maybe a long shot but has anyone in the Peterborough area got a road spring compressor suitable for replacing GT6 springs? I have done one side but I used
my hook type compressor and it was very difficult and probably very dangerous !
Just thought I would ask for a lend before I go and spend £40 on a tool I will only probably use a couple of times, in fact I don't mind
"hiring" the compressor to make it more encouraging.
Cheers, Steve.

£40? I bought mine for less that £10 from a local motor factors. You could borrow mine but I'm based in Shropshire, probably
cheaper to buy new ones.

Thanks for the Ebay tip Steve, had a look and have found some that have a much shallower hook, these should do the trick.

Steve
Have you tried asking you local area meeting? Some areas loan out special tools.
