Spitfire 1500 rear suspension

I've just bought a triumph spitfire 1500. It has fitted a twin sports exaust system, which sounds great but prooves really tricky when going over even the most shallow bumps.

The rear suspension also seems to be really quite low compared to the front. Is it possible to raise the rear suspension? If so, how could this be done.

Ben - this should really be posted in the Spitfire section...

It's quite possible that your rear spring is worn - the only bit that really effects the ride height...

If you have a photo of your car on level ground - that would be really helpful...
