  I take it you have your 'dished' pistons then now?.... just what cc are they again? I hope they are worth the hassle

    They're 6.25cc - a perfect amount - works out at around 10.2 compression...

      So when you machine the pistons to set the deck heights you will now presumeably grind each chamber to match the dish of it's piston??

        Nah....
        He's dropping a 'race prepped' 1300 head onto a race prepped 1500 engine. This is his solution to reducing the compression - should give about 10.2:1 (by his calculations).

          Somewhere between 10.2 and 10.8 are my calculations - due to a few variables...
