            Obviously something that hides in the bottom corner of your tool box....
            I will be looking for one in my 'Christmas Stocking' this year....Thats if I can find it!!! (the Scrumpleshift adjuster, iv'e got me stocking out already...)

              Best not to adjust the Scrumpleshift, just buy a new one, that's why there are so many scrumpleshift adjusters on ebay - nobody uses them anymore, they just replace the old original adjustable scrumpleshift with an electronically programmable aftermarket one from Hong Kong - not for the purists but saves a hell of a lot hit and miss adjusting with the scrumpleshift adjuster....

                Wouldn't replacing just one with the programmable type cause a misfire

                  Misfire?, no, imbalace? maybe, which could be mistaken for a misfire - that's why it's recomended to replace all of your scrumple shifters with the programmable type as even replacing all of them with programmable japanese ones is far cheaper than replacing a single original one! purists look away now.....

                    I made the mistake of buying the hydraulically adjusted version... now all the old timers laugh at me. Anyone got the manually adjustable version they can sell?

    Its used to adjust the flow of oil to the swobbelator.
    
    Of course thats just the one on the left, the one on the right gets lubricated by the overflow from the cam scraper of course,

        the middle one is quite close to the outlying flange, and so therefore runs in a magnaflux housing, and so doesn't need oiling of course.

          ah righto!! All I need to do now then is hijack good ol Santa on Christmas Eve night as he tries to find the chimney on the house (which aint there!) and then get his reindeer blotto so he can't escape and then hand him my amended wish list to include this fang dangle scrumpleshift adjuster!! Failing that - a ready built garage and workshop will do in lieu!!

      This is a urine extraction tool.
      Make one yourself by heating an old corkscrew to cherry red then carefully straighten it.
      Weld this to the smoke grinding attachment from a swiss army knife and 'voila'.
