On big triumphs, be very wary of any rust in the sills. There is an inner,
a center castle panel and then the outer and rust can be a bugger to get out properly and v. expensive unless doing it yourself. Other than that,
the condition of the wheel arches, wings, front valance and nose cone on Mk1s is vital. Bare in mind that replacement panels are ruinously
expensive for these cars so do be careful. having said that, we have been running them for years and if you can keep the rust bug at bay, they make
a great everyday car and happy in today's traffic.
