Anything and everything 2000/2500/2.5.

Dear all,
Word to the wise, it would appear that the rear gear box mountings available for 2000/2.5s are not quite right. The bottom half that bolts to the crossmember is fine, the top holes (to the O/D) are too close together. I had to take the rotary file to them and widen by approx 1/4" each side to get the bolt hole to line up. This was on a J type and apparently only one type of mounting is listed whether you have an A type or J type O/D. This led to a certain amount of panic until I found a) my drill and b) the box with the rotary files in it. Anyone who has seen inside our garage will understand!
