Just bought this Stag (April 07). Just sold my Vitesse to pay for it. It is a very good car with only one owner from new. Bodywork is excellent and does
benefit from a respray a couple of years ago although it is not the best in the world, they left the hardtop on etc. Only real issues are a couple of bad
oil leaks which will need to be sorted in the winter. Other issue is with a contact apparently made by the hanbrake adjuster cotter pin rubbing the prop. I
been told the oin maybe in the wrong way round but it only rubs when pulling awat then disappears. Anyone else heard of this ?

Just turn the pin around and see if it cures the noise. I guess with the edges of paint, where it has been resprayed with the hardtop fitted, could be
flatted back with 1500 grade wet and dry used wet and machine polished with G7 compound. If done carefully you should be able to blend the paint neatly
without going through to the primer. Has to be better than having a raw edge of new paint against the old and cheaper than another respray!
