Oil Pressure falling - blood pressure rising!

Hi Alan,
They usually seem to run at around 30-40 PSI oil pressure when warm. From your description it is falling when warm - If the water temp is also getting hot, I would check out the cooling system to ensure that is working ok. As the hotter the engine the thinner the oil will get, hence a lower pressure.
If the water temp is fine I would try changing the oil incase it has been filled with 15w/40 instead of the correct 20w/50 oil.
It would also be worth checking to oil that comes out for any metal particles.
If you have / can obtain a gauge with the pressure marked on it it may even show 30 - 40PSI when warm.

The temp is fine - it could be the oil as I am not sure if the past owner would have bothered - obviously he thought the car would stop quicker with the metal to metal contact going on in the rear drums
