Engine, cooling system, fuel system, exhaust system.

just got back from a run in the sun today and got petrol leaking from air breather pipe right hand carb.appears to be over fueling so suspect faulty float/needle valve,left hand carb is fine and car appears to runs ok but idle speed has dropped to bugger all and is also erratic.any one had a similar problem before I start surgery on the little darling !!
