Hi all,
I'm looking for three replacement parts to keep the originality of my 1976 1500 Spitfire.
1. A black plastic durable dot fastener to match those on the original 'Vyback' hood. I can only find metal ones with a thin vinyl coat.
2. The black plastic cover with a metal spring inside that bolts onto the B post hood frame plate to 'clip' the seatbelt tidily away. The drivers side one
has sprung apart and resists repair.
3. A Radiomobile car radio - mine has totally died and I won't fit a modern one.
My car is a former concours winner, although I use it and don't spend 2 hours washing every day, I do try to keep it rust-free and looking smart and
original. The missing seatbelt clip and duradot are annoying.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Plastic hood bits, got some recently from canleys.
Seat belt clips, a friend has been looking on and off for as long as I can remember (15 years?) and has only come up with some cracked ones, so good
luck, but you may get lucky!
Car radio, try ebay or google. There are specialists out there.

Thanks, I could only get the metal ones from Canleys and they denied any availability of the plastic ones.......

Thanks Jon,
The car's in Devon, and due to a trip to Greece to see the in-laws and a conference in Amsterdam, I won't see it till 2nd weekend in July.
I'll get some piccies then.
