Does anyone know if the moto-lita steering wheels are generic? I realise you have to get a boss to 'match' the car but if i bid for a mini moto-lita
steering wheel on ebay for example could i just change the boss?
Also, can i use the boss from my current steering wheel or am I missing the point somewhere?

Kati,
I was looking at that too!
Worry not, changed my mind - I don't fancy suede.
But what sort of wheel do you have already?
An original wheel doesn't have a seperate boss, it's all one piece.
If you have an aftermarket wheel with a seperate boss, that it might fit. There are different sizes but you might be lucky like I was. I had to eBuy
this shirtbutton sized wheel because it had a Triumph hub, and the proper sized wheel had a Ford one(this one).

Hi John
Judging by it's state, I'd say the wheel was original, so thanks for letting me know about the boss/no boss situation!
Thing is, I don't like any of the bosses they supply. I'm so fussy - why don't they just do plain ones!

Hi John, I'm liking the steering wheel on the right, it's so bling!

Motolital wheels differ from most the other common wheels (Mountney, Astrali etc) as they use a 9 screw fitting to the boss and they always have
the Motolita script.
