Some of the parts on the car may have only done 35 miles.....
the clips on the hoses should be original, may have had later clips on the last models, but two different clips on the same hose? the cut washer
holding in the heater matrix has a washer with the edge cut off, that's ok but surely it would have been lined up to clear the spotwelded lip? - you
can pick the bones out of this one but it is a nice car - all be it a little misrepresented. (I myself have 7 different hose clip types on my car,,,)

Here's a couple of photos I took of a friends car that had only ever done 600km. Must have been about the same age...

This could very be a 35 mile Spitfire, given that it is 25 years old one would expect it to have few marks and a few of the bits changed. The hoses
might have rotted and been changed and at the same time the hose clips might have been changed because the originals were seized.
The marks on the front suspension are consistent with it being towed, probably onto a trailer - I would expect this if they intend to maintain the
mileage.
The engine valances look like they have damage due to vermin, not unusual. The only thing that seems wrong to me is the poor state of the RH inner
wing panel.
